How to Use the Image Resizer

  1. Upload your image: Click the upload area or drag and drop an image file (JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP)
  2. Choose resize method: Select Custom dimensions, Percentage scaling, or a Preset size
  3. Adjust settings: Enter your desired dimensions or percentage. Lock/unlock aspect ratio as needed
  4. Download: Click "Download Resized" to save your resized image

Resize Modes Explained

  • Custom: Enter exact pixel dimensions for width and height. Lock aspect ratio to scale proportionally, or unlock to specify custom dimensions
  • Percentage: Scale image by percentage (e.g., 50% = half size, 200% = double size). Maintains aspect ratio automatically
  • Presets: One-click resize to common social media and web dimensions (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.)

Tips for Best Results

  • Keep aspect ratio locked: Prevents distortion by maintaining original proportions
  • Use bicubic resampling: Provides smoother results than nearest-neighbor scaling
  • Don't upscale too much: Enlarging images beyond 150-200% can result in quality loss and pixelation
  • Choose the right format: JPG for photos, PNG for graphics/screenshots with text, WebP for best compression
  • Set appropriate resolution: 72 PPI for web/screen, 300 PPI for print
